If you want to embed a video or social media post into your article or website, it’s easy to do so. Most social media platforms let you embed content, but Snapchat just wasn’t one of them. That’s been pretty frustrating for most people who want to share Snaps throughout their posts. However, you can breathe a sigh of relief, as you can now embed Snapchat content.
You can embed different types of Snapchat content
There are those times when you want to turn people’s attention to a Snapchat post in particular. You might own a website where you want to embed your official Snapchat content to keep people engaged. Maybe someone posted a bit of news via Snapchat, and you want to embed it in your article covering that story.
Either way, people have been wanting Snapchat to allow people to embed content for a while. But, now that you’re able to, it’s pretty simple to do so. In the announcement post from Snapchat, the company gives you instructions on how to do so.
Firstly, you can embed Spotlight videos, public Stores, and Public Profiles on different sites. You can either embed your content on the web version of the app or the mobile version. To embed using the website, find the content and simply copy its link. Then, you’ll be able to embed that link onto your site.
Using the mobile version is similar. When you find the content, tap on that post’s options and tap on the embed option. You’ll copy the code to your clipboard. After that, you’ll then be able to paste to where you need to paste it.
This feature should be available for pretty much everyone. If you don’t see the option just yet, then you’ll want to update the app on your phone. If you still don’t see it, you might just want to wait a little while. It might not have made it to you.
