The Nothing speaker could look like “Nothing” we’ve seen before

Nothing already has a handful of devices under its belt, but the company is expanding its portfolio. Along with its current products, it seems that the company is working on releasing a speaker. According to a leak from Kuba Wojciechowski.(via 91Mobiles), Nothing could be working on a speaker.

Early last year, we got the news that the company was working on four new products. Since then, we’ve gotten the Nothing Ear (Stick), Nothing Phone (1), and information on the Nothing Ear (2). This leaves one more device in the pipeline, and we might have a leak of it.

A new leak shows what could be the Nothing speaker

This is all really early information, you’ll want to take it with a grain of salt. The leak shows us an early render of a speaker that the company could be working on. Putting it plainly, it’s an interesting-looking device.

We only see the device from one angle, so it’s a little hard to get an idea of how it will look. On the top of the speaker, we see what looks like a transparent handle (Nothing making a device with transparent parts? No!). The transparent part seems to encompass the entire device, being attached to the rubber feet at the bottom.

We see a total of six buttons on the device- two on the right and four on the left. These will most certainly be the power, volume, play/pause, track navigation, etc. buttons. One of the buttons does have a red color. We’re not sure why; it could be the power button or the play/pause button. We’ll need to see the speaker to know for sure.

Now, onto the speaker array. This is definitely an interesting arrangement for the drivers. We see the speaker split into two segments with two drivers each. The top segment is smaller and it has two identical drivers- one on either side.

On the bottom segment, we see two much larger drivers, and they’re not identical. The one on the left is a perfect circle while the other one is an oval standing vertically. The top speakers are most likely the tweeters while the ones on the bottom are the woofers.

There’s one interesting feature about this speaker. Close to the center of the top, center (it’s offset slightly to the left), we see one component, but we’re not sure what it’s supposed to be. We see the first three letters of the Nothing logo in it. Also, it looks like it reflects the light in the same way that a lens would. Maybe this speaker will have some added functionality. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess.

We’re not sure when this speaker will come out soon, but the source says that it might come out relatively soon.
