Baffling OPPO Find X7 Pro design appears, with octagon camera in focus

The OPPO Find X7 series launch is right around the corner. As we’re waiting for more information from the company, the OPPO Find X7 Pro design just leaked, and… it’s kind of baffling.

If you check out the image below, you’ll see an image that appeared on Weibo. This image does not come from the usual sources, even though the flash position seems to be in line with what leaked earlier.

As you can see, this device has an octagon-shaped camera island on the back. Consumers did not really have the best reactions to this on social media, and it’s not difficult to see why. It really doesn’t look as flattering, at least not in the image that leaked.

This camera design does remind us of the Huawei Mate 40, 50, and 60 Porsche Design devices. Both of those devices had an octagon-shaped camera island on the back, though it was smaller than the one in the leaked image.

This leak does not confirm anything, of course, but it could be accurate. On that camera island, you’ll see four images, as expected. The flash position also fits, and the overall shape of the phone could also be accurate. The device in the leaked image does have a curved display too.

OPPO’s next-gen flagship series is expected towards the end of Q1 2024

The OPPO Find X6 Pro launched in March this year. Its successor is expected to arrive around the same time next year, unless OPPO makes a major adjustment to its release cycle. The OPPO Find X7 will also launch, of course.

We’ll likely see more leaks as March gets closer, so sit tight as we wait for those. It will be interesting to see if this leak is accurate or not, but the octagon camera on the back really does not look all that flattering.
