The OnePlus 12 will feature 16GB of RAM and Android 14, it has been confirmed. The phone appeared on Geekbench, a benchmarking website, and thus some of its specs were confirmed.

The OnePlus 12 surfaced on Geekbench, and is confirmed to include 16GB of RAM & Android 14

As per usual, Geekbench doesn’t really share a lot of info, but we now know the RAM, Android OS version, and the SoC that the phone will offer. Granted, we could have guessed all three, but it’s not kind of confirmed.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel the phone. This is something that was confirmed around the Snapdragon Summit that took place recently. In addition to that, the global variant of the phone will include 16GB of RAM.

Now, more than one RAM variant is a possibility, but chances are that the global model won’t offer more than 16GB. The Chinese variant could go as high as 24GB.

Android 14 is expected as the latest version of Android, with OxygenOS 14 on top of it. Now, Geekbench has also shared the benchmarking results, the phone’s single-core and multi-core performance. Do note that this is likely a pre-release unit, though, so take that with a grain of salt.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is an immensely powerful chip

The phone managed to hit 2,169 points in the single-core, and 6,501 points in the multi-core test. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 seems to be an immensely powerful chip on paper, so that’s no surprise.

As far as the rest of the phone’s specs, well, some info did surface. The device is expected to include a 6.82-inch QHD display from BOE. That display will be immensely bright, and it will be an LTPO panel. It will also be curved.

A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX966 sensor) was mentioned before. The same goes for a 48-megapixel ultrawide unit (Sony’s IM581 sensor), and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical zoom).

A 5,400mAh battery will sit inside the OnePlus 12, and the device will support 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.
