As per the website, the model number of the gadget is XT2445-1. It is listed under the organization name of the parent company Lenovo. Motorola is mentioned in the form of manufacturer.

The certification doesn’t provide any details about the gadget. Additionally, there are no prominent leaks or rumors available on the internet. Therefore, it’s almost impossible for us to comment on anything related to it.

Moto Tag will give fierce competition to Apple AirTag

So, the Yahoo News app will use the AI technology that the Artifact app was using. With it, it will be able to intelligently curate news stories catered to users. The stories will be based on the users’ specific preferences. That’s a great thing, as people don’t like seeing news stories that don’t interest them. That’s cool, but Yahoo is following Google’s footsteps

Being such a huge news brand, it’s been the bread and butter of several news websites. However, it’s pulling the same stunt that Google pulled with AI Overviews. Now, people will have a fast track to skipping relevant news sites.

What makes this worse is that the purpose of the app is to go to news sites. Bringing AI summaries defeats the purpose of the app itself. It’s a bit more understandable for Google (only a bit) because you go to Google for broad knowledge whether it be from a news site, video site, blog, etc. So, getting Overviews isn’t as much of a slap to the face of news organizations because there’s always the chance that you’re not looking for news. However, that’s not saying much to Google’s credit.

In the case of the Yahoo News app, it’s built to show you news stories. You’re more than likely going to the app to be taken to news sites. So, this AI tool has more of an effect on the news sites it’s curating news from.

This points to a bad trend

The fact that Yahoo is bringing this tool hints at something potentially worrying. Google got flack for bringing AI summaries of stories. So, what does Meta do soon after? The same thing. It shows that, despite the public outcry, it’s still going through with its plans.

Well, Yahoo is no different. Now, there’s another company taking viewers from news websites without considering what the majority of people are saying. It’s just like how OpenAI is pushing to bring AI video generation into Hollywood, even though ANYONE can see how that will negatively affect the industry. We’re talking about major Hollywood studios like Disney and Warner Brothers. This is despite everyone’s worries.

The fact that Yahoo, a company that has so much sway over the news industry chose to bring a tool that can have such a devastating effect on the news industry shows that this could be a big trend. So far, we’ve seen AI summaries with Google Search, Meta AI, and Brave Browser’s default search engine. Companies are interested in expediting the acquisition of knowledge to fool people into thinking that taking a minute to read a post takes too long.

The more people who adopt and prop up their products, the happier the all-mighty investors will be. At the end of the day, that’s what’s important; money. Yahoo revamped its news app, which is always a good thing, but we’ll have to see if the AI summaries will be well-received.

Well, it looks like Gemini is still recommending people put glue on their pizza.

Soon after Google unleashed AI Overviews on the world, we’ve been getting numerous reports of Gemini delivering some rather worrying answers to searches. While several of them were fabricated, many were actual answers. One of them that stood above the rest was Google suggesting that people put glue on their pizza to make the cheese stick. That’s a food hack that would get any TikToker canceled.

Google came out and addressed why these odd responses were popping up, and it put some of the blame on users and some on data voids. As a result of this backlash, the company reduced how many search results produce the overviews. Now, you’ll only see overviews on about 15% of searches will get the overviews.

Gemini still recommends putting glue on pizza

Gemini’s Glue-Pizza Gate is still going on, as Google still hasn’t fixed the issue telling people to basically poison themselves. When asked how much glue you should put on your pizza, Gemini will respond by telling you to add 1/8 cup of glue. But it’s okay, as it tells you to put non-toxic glue!

In any case, the repose, provided by the Verge, pointed to a Business Insider article written by author Katie Notopoulos. In the article, she mentioned that she made and ate the pizza, “it was kind of OK?” Apparently, that was all that Google needed to push this food hack even further. Other chatbots like Perplexity AI and ChatGPT all advise against eating glue. This shines a bad light on Google as it’s literally one of the biggest companies in the world. Millions, if not billions, of people use its AI tools each day, so it has a major influence over the global population.

The glue pizza isn’t toxic, but that’s not the main issue

The problem is that Gemini doesn’t know the difference between what’s edible and what’s not edible. Sure, we learn not to eat glue in kindergarten, but not every foreign ingredient is so obviously inedible. The internet is full of weird food hacks that seem odd but work out. There’s no telling if Gemini will point to something that would lead to actual illness or death.

Let’s be honest, there are people who are dumb enough to try anything they see on the internet. However, Gemini needs to be better if it wants to beat the competition.

As the industry ushers into a new era of AI, Samsung wants to be at the forefront of this revolution. The company has already set a trend with Galaxy AI.
